  • Date: 03/10/2017 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Location: Arizona Museum of Natural History
    53 N. Macdonald
    Mesa, Arizona 85201
  • Introduction: A free dino themed party for preschoolers 0-5 years of age.

We're having a Dino party especially for Pre-schoolers!

Join us for a FREE and fun evening of:

Dino Tales: A story telling station that includes finger play and other audience participation which develops skills in listening and attention, along with other pre-reading skills such as prediction and use of imagination.

Scavenger Hunt:  Children and care givers collaborate while  hunting for clues around the museum that provide health and safety information for parents and letter recognition for preschoolers.

Dino Might Station:  Will reinforce health habits and good early child care practices by making fun connections with our dinosaur theme. For example, the audience will have hands on experience with dinosaur fossil teeth as we talk about the important of dental hygiene.

Other booths include crafts and activities that provide opportunities to work on letter recognition, and fine motor coordination, which are important pre-writing elements. PLUS pre-math skills focusing on shapes, number and pattern recognition!

Adults must be accompanied by at least one child 0-5 years of age.
